Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Manhoef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and San Cristobal Fuente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Melvin Manhoef!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Manhoef.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Manhoef misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Manhoef works over Fuente's head and body with a nice combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Manhoef is looking to score with low kicks.
Fuente changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Manhoef tries to avoid it but Fuente manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Manhoef to the ground. Manhoef escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Manhoef swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Manhoef throws a nice inside leg kick.
Manhoef could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fuente looks gassed!

Fuente has closed the distance and engaged Manhoef in a clinch.
Manhoef lands an elbow just above Fuente 's eye.

Manhoef breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A head kick misses from Manhoef.
Fuente takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Manhoef tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fuente on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Manhoef. Manhoef obviously looking to wear him down.
A combination from Manhoef does no damage.
Manhoef throws a right hand that Fuente ducks under and follows up with a left that Fuente also avoids with ease.
Manhoef looks to land a combination. Fuente sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Manhoef throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Manhoef scores with a nice right hand.
Manhoef throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Manhoef.
A combination from Manhoef does no damage.

Nice defenses there by Fuente.
Fuente swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Manhoef.
Fuente on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Manhoef stuffs the takedown.
Fuente doesn't manage to clinch there - Manhoef circles away.
Fuente shoots in and drives through. Manhoef sprawls well.
Melvin Manhoef has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of San Cristobal Fuente.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Manhoef!

Fuente gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Manhoef wants to break the clinch but can't.

Manhoef pushes Fuente away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Fuente gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Fuente is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Manhoef looks calm but he's in trouble here. Fuente gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Manhoef is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Fuente lets go of the hold and Manhoef can pop his arm back in it's socket.
