The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovalenko tests Axiom's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Ragnar Axiom has been cut.
Axiom throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kovalenko! But no joy.
Axiom has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Hut - $50 in the buildup to the fight.

Axiom clinches.
Kovalenko has had enough of the clinch but Axiom keeps him there for the moment.
Kovalenko wants to get back to striking at distance but Axiom won't allow it.
Kovalenko tries to work over Axiom's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kovalenko goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Axiom has Kovalenko pressed against the cage.
Axiom lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

It looks like Alexei Kovalenko has been cut.
Axiom on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Axiom lands a hook to the side of the head.
Axiom throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kovalenkos head.

Axiom drops Kovalenko onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Kovalenko is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Axiom unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Kovalenko! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Axiom is unloading with more strikes now! Kovalenko drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
