The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hika feints and then cracks Though's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Though down.
Though misses with a jab to the body
and Though takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like David Though has been cut.
Though throws a body kick that misses

and Hika counters with a nice right hand that sends Though toppling to the canvas! Though scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Hika finish him?!

Though is rocked!
That kick from Hika tenderised Though's leg. Though is trying to keep his angry face on.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hika lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Though falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
