Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 41 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dallas Riley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ipad Apple!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riley fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Riley throws a combination that misses
and Apple counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Apple gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Riley wants to control from the top but Apple keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Apple not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Apple looking to hit a scissor sweep but Riley is one step ahead there.
Apple is still trying to improve position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Riley passes Apple's left leg - he's now in half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Apple can do anything to dispel that myth.

Riley prevents Apple from improving his position.
Riley prevents Apple from standing back up.

Riley throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Riley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Apple tries to roll over but Riley keeps him under control.
Riley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Riley moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Apple.
Apple really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Riley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Apple tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Riley wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Apple is not content to let Riley control the position.

Riley thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Riley has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Riley thowing shots but they're missing.
Riley can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Apple is looking to escape.
Riley has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Apple's face.

Apple can't escape the position.
Riley is trying to take his opponent's back.
Riley trying to control but Apple is having none of it.
Apple trying desperately to get to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Riley unloads with some shots from mount but Apple bucks and avoids them well.
Riley can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Apple is looking to escape.
Riley is landing with some decent strikes but Apple is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Apple tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Riley has hold of Apple's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Apple manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Riley trying to control but Apple is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dallas Riley dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Riley defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Apple.
A head kick by Riley misses
and Apple counters with a right hand to the body.
Riley shoots in but no luck this time.
Apple with the counter takedown but Riley avoids it easily.

Apple is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Riley's half guard.
Riley is trying to maintain the position but Apple is very close to passing his half guard.
Riley is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Apple can do to turn this around?
Riley works his way to full guard. Good work.

Riley is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Apple is looking for a sweep. Riley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Apple is trying to control but can't.
Riley not doing much here.

Riley throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Riley tries to pass to full mount but Apple defends it.
Riley content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Apple trying to get back to full guard but Riley takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Apple tries to improve his position but Riley has taken his back! Riley has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Apple tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Riley pushes Apple away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dallas Riley!
