The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fernandez scores with a takedown into Held's guard.

Held working for submissions but it's allowed Fernandez to get to half guard.
Fernandez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Held keeps working.
Fernandez prevents Held from improving his position.
Held is trying to control but Fernandez manages to pass to mount!
Held wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Fernandez.

Held tries to hold on but Fernandez pushes him away.

Held tries to reverse the position but Fernandez maintains control.
Held is squirming around, avoiding Fernandez's attempts to control the action.
Fernandez is really struggling to control Held but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Held felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Held is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Held can't escape the position.
Held wants to control but Fernandez is having none of it.

Held is looking to improve his position but Fernandez isn't that keen on the idea.
Held tries to hold on but Fernandez postures up.
Held sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Fernandez takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Held has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Fernandez doesn't defend quickly enough and Held has managed to lock this one up! Can Fernandez escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Held on a fantastic submission victory.

Marcin Held really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Arcticus University: London logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
