The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyle throws a big shot that misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kyle. Gipson does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Gipson counters by moving into the clinch.

Gipson tightens his grip and picks Kyle up, before dumping him to the ground. Kyle manages to land in guard.

Kyle is looking for a kimura but Gipson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kyle to get the leverage.
Kyle is keen to just control but Gipson is a slippery customer.

Kyle creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gipson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Gipson moves into range and clinches up with Kyle.

Gipson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gipson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
