Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drakaath Yelgersmold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Bilashki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Yelgersmold might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sexy Bitches Playing Metal On Electric Violins. Bilashki has chosen The Warriors of Skyrim as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Drakaath Yelgersmold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Bilashki!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bilashki throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Bilashki wants to clinch.
Yelgersmold falls off balance throwing a combination

and Bilashki counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Bilashki looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Bilashki decides to return to a standing position.
Yelgersmold misses with a jab, cross combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bilashki tries to clinch
and Yelgersmold counters with a straight right hand.
Yelgersmold misses with a hook.
Bilashki misses with a looping right.
Yelgersmold is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bilashki wants to clinch up but Yelgersmold keeps it at a distance.
Yelgersmold ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bilashki dives in and grabs Yelgersmold's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yelgersmold pushes down on Bilashki's head and hops out.
Bilashki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yelgersmold paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Bilashki drives through and clinches with Yelgersmold against the cage.
Bilashki doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Yelgersmold is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Yelgersmold on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Bilashki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Yelgersmold comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheers as Yelgersmold lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bilashki doesn't seem phased though.
Yelgersmold looks to throw the jab but Bilashki is out of range.
Yelgersmold scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Yelgersmold feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bilashki sprawling to the canvas! Bilashki rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Yelgersmold finish him?!


It looks like Jon Bilashki has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bilashki avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bilashki tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Yelgersmold sends Bilashki crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Yelgersmold is motioning to the referee to let Bilashki up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Bilashki is rocked!
Yelgersmold weaves into range and cracks Bilashki right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Bilashki goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Yelgersmold is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Drakaath Yelgersmold!
After the fight, Drakaath Yelgersmold was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
