Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Templar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Capwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wesley Templar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mason Capwell!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Templar tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Capwell defends well and Templar ends up having to push Capwell into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Templar fails in his attempt to clinch.
Capwell looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Capwell takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Templar throws a body punch but Capwell moves out of range.
Templar misses with an uppercut
and Capwell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Templar doesn't manage to clinch there - Capwell circles away.
Capwell lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Templar has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Capwell finds it's way round the side to connect with Templar's head.


It looks like Wesley Templar has been cut.
Capwell moves out of range of the strikes.
Templar throws a hook but Capwell avoids it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Capwell! But no joy.
Templar lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Capwell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Templar.
It seemed like Capwell was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Capwell is desperately trying to improve his position but Templar has a good base and remains in mount.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Templar goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Capwell turns into him and now he's in Templar's guard.

As Templar backs off Capwell throws a huge counter combo but Templar manages to avoid it all.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

I would just about give that final round to Mason Capwell.
