Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniello Pablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniello Pablo struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Silva counters with a crisp one two that drops Pablo! Silva thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Pablo to his feet! Pablo is in big trouble!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pablo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Silva defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pablo.
Pablo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Silva sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Silva tried to counter with a leg kick but Pablo avoided it.

Pablo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Silva sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pablo somewhat.
Silva fires out a quick counter leg kick but Pablo just manages to avoid it.
Pablo shoots and misses
and Silva counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Pablo off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Silva follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Pablo was out before he hit the floor.
