The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Maximus connects with a jab.

It looks like Epi Fongua has been cut.
Maximus takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Maximus looks to land a body kick but Fongua moved away.
Fongua throws a leg kick but Maximus sees it coming and moves out of range.
Fongua looks to throw the jab but Maximus is out of range.
Fongua throws a jab when Maximus was well out of range.
Fongua looks to land a right hand but Maximus moved out of range.
Maximus walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Fongua connects with a crisp jab.
Fongua takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Fongua swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Maximus ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fongua moves away.
Fongua throws a hook but Maximus blocks it.
Maximus bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Maximus and Fongua are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Maximus throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Fongua into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Maximus knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
