Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between DJ Dy No Mite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DJ Dy No Mite had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Albert Hoffman !
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dy No Mite fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hoffman manages to avoid it.
Hoffman tries a quick counter leg kick but Dy No Mite is wise to it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hoffman has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Hoffman fails with the takedown.
Dy No Mite has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Hoffman on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Hoffman shoots in and gets a takedown into Dy No Mite's guard.
Hoffman throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Hoffman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hoffman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hoffman wants to pass the guard but Dy No Mite is keeping the position.
Dy No Mite will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dy No Mite pulls Hoffman in close to prevent any damage.

Hoffman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dy No Mite is on top in guard.

Hoffman has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Dy No Mite doesn't defend quickly enough and Hoffman has managed to lock this one up! Can Dy No Mite escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hoffman on a fantastic submission victory.
