Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jared Nicholson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demar Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicholson throws a series of strikes that have Jones backpedaling.
Jones jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jones digs a good body shot into Nicholson's ribs.
Nicholson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Nicholson throws out a loose jab but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jones, as that shot connected.
Nicholson is looking to clinch.
A countering left hand to the body from Jones misses.
Jones throws a lazy right hand but Nicholson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Nicholson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Nicholson tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Nicholson connects with a nice cross there... Jones is looking wobbly and Nicholson recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Jones to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Nicholson jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
