The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunder looks to land a body kick but Carolla moved away.
Thunder just misses with a punch to the body.
Thunder uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Carolla.

Thunder shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carolla's guard.
Carolla controlling the position.
Carolla on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Carolla tries to get out of the position.
Thunder trying to control but Carolla is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thunder pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Carolla is keeping the position for now.

Thunder thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Carolla lands with a good body shot.
Thunder gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Carolla connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Theo Thunder has been cut.

Thunder shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Carolla as he avoids it easily.
Carolla misses with a looping left.
Thunder moves forwards but Carolla connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Carolla drops Thunder with a huge uppercut! Thunder drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Carolla is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
