The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Kompf with a lazy takedown attempt
letting Xian counter with a right hand.
Xian thuds a left hand into Van Kompf's body.
Van Kompf tries for a takedown but Xian sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Xian displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Van Kompf.
Wu Xian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Van Kompf.
Van Kompf takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Peter Van Kompf has been cut.

Xian lands a big right hand that sends Van Kompf crashing to the mat! Xian stays standing though and waves Van Kompf back to his feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Xian weaves into range and cracks Van Kompf right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Van Kompf goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Xian is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
