Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nixy Souch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casey Swift (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swift has chosen War Pigs as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swift throws a quick inside leg kick.
A jab from Swift finds it's way through Souch's defenses.
Nice takedown defense from Swift. No joy for Souch on that attempt.
Souch looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Swift is fending him off so far but Souch persists. Nope, Swift circles away and we're back to standing.
Souch sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Swift throws a leg kick which misses Souch's front leg but catches the back leg as Souch tries to avoid it.
Swift tries a head kick but it misses.
Swift scores with a kick to the midsection.
Souch gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Swift counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Souch thinking.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nixy Souch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Souch is breathing heavily.

A big head kick from Swift and Souch is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Nixy Souch has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Swift has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Souch is proving hard to escape from.
Oh Souch is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Souch wants to stand and escape but Swift is having none of it.
Swift would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Souch seems to have got his legs back now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Souch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Swift doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Swift manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Souch misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Souch takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Swift has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Souch is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Casey Swift is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Souch shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Swift sprawls well. Swift wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Souch gets slowly back to his feet.

Souch takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Souch ducks straight into an uppercut from Swift and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Souch manages to regain guard straight away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Swift wants to stand but Souch has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Souch slips a jab and a cross from Swift.
Souch shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Swift sprawls well. Swift wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Souch gets slowly back to his feet.

Souch tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Souch is trying hard to land a takedown here. Swift sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Swift connects with a body shot.
Swift Rushes Souch and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Souch is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Swift Piles on the pressure and Souch crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
