Akira Ito seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've been told by Clinton's head coaches at Damacus Steel that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ito throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Ito counters with a big right hand! Oh Clinton is in trouble here! Ito follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
