The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Su dives in and grabs Sanchez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes down on Su's head and hops out.
Yung Su seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Su pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Su tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sanchez swivels and escapes.
Su shoots in and drives through. Sanchez sprawls well.
Sanchez is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Su with a body shot.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yung Su. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Su misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Su shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sanchez as he jumps to the side.
Sanchez flicks out a counter leg kick but Su steps away.

Su tries to sprawl but Sanchez drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Su really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sanchez has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Su defend it? Sanchez steps over the head and cranks it - Su is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Sanchez!
