The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kid was well out of range. Poor timing from Stark.
Stark tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kid paws at him with a jab and circles away.
As Stark backs off Kid throws a huge counter combo but Stark manages to avoid it all.
Stark looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Stark shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Stark was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Stark tries for a kimura but Kid is defending well.
Stark tries to advance to mount but Kid denies him.
Kid is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Kid is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Stark is controlling him well.

Stark is trying to get an arm triangle but Kid is defending well.

Kid takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Kid tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Kid is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Kid wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Stark lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Kid is still in real trouble! Can Stark finish him?
Kid really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stark. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kid takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
