Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Sweet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sweet tries to avoid it but Sanchez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sweet to the ground. Sweet escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sweet shoots in looking for a takedown but Sanchez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sweet's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sweet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sweet or perhaps it was just good defense by Sanchez, which made it look bad.
Mirko Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Sweet.
Sanchez closes the distance and clinches up with Sweet, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes Sweet against the cage but Sweet circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Sanchez counters with a three punch combo that has Sweet backing up. Sweet nods at Sanchez to acknowledge the strikes.
Sanchez misses with a wild combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sanchez slaps away a takedown attempt from Sweet, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sweet takes a shot right to the bread basket.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanchez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Sweet closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sanchez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sanchez is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sweet has hold of Sanchez's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Sanchez tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Sweet cranks the arm and Sanchez screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sanchez, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
