The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acevedo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Knight decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Acevedo's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Knight's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Knight tries to free his leg and advance position but Acevedo is retaining full guard.
Knight is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Knight passes Acevedo's left leg - he's now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Acevedo scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Knight manages to mount him!

It looks like Ike Acevedo has been cut.
Knight breaks from Acevedo's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Knight cracks Acevedo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Acevedo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Knight on the ground.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Knight! Acevedo is hurt baaadly! Knight is firing away with more strikes - Acevedo is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
