Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kobe Bryan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but James was well out of range. Poor timing from Bryan.
Bryan doesn't manage to clinch there - James circles away.
Bryan tries to clinch but James moves out of range.
Bryan throws a body shot but no joy.
Bryan lands a nice hook to James's body. James takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
James throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bryan's waist but Bryan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing James off to one side.
The fight stays on the outside here - James looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Bryan moves into the clinch successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James has Bryan pushed against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on James's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bryan tries to stall but James uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

James jumps guard and drags Bryan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Bryan tries to free his leg and advance position but James is retaining full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bryan wants to control from the top but James keeps moving.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
James closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Bryan scores with a body shot.
James looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kobe Bryan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
