Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manu Ruckus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Lasson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunnar Lasson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lasson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ruckus as he avoids it easily.
Ruckus misses with a wild combination.
Lasson stuffs the takedown.
Ruckus lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like Gunnar Lasson has been cut.
Nice body punch from Ruckus.
Ruckus really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lasson wants to take the fight to the mat but Ruckus manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Lasson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ruckus clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lasson gets his hands free as Ruckus looks to control.
Lasson lands shots from the back.
Lasson connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Ruckus to escape the position.
Lasson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lasson is hanging on to Ruckus's back as he tries to escape.

Lasson lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Lasson keeps control of the position as Ruckus tries to break free.

Lasson is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Ruckus has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Lasson has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Ruckus taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Lasson doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Gunnar Lasson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
