Jones's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Beyonce feat. Jay Z - Bonnie & Clyde. Clyde Jones had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clyde Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Stevie Hinch!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hinch keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Hinch controlling the position for now.
Jones throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Jones is trying to work for a kimura but Hinch is defending well.

Hinch looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Jones prevents Hinch from improving his position.
Jones is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Hinch on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones drops an elbow to the side of Hinch's head.


It looks like Stevie Hinch has been cut.
Hinch works his way to full guard. Good work.

Hinch escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hinch trying to control the position.
Hinch utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Jones lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Hinch has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though.
Jones distracts Hinch with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Hinch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hinch looking for a guillotine here but Jones defends easily.

That has opened up Stevie Hinch's cut even more.
Jones passes Hinch's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Jones is working for a submission of some sort.

Jones throws a strike but Hinch avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Hinch escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jones's corner. There ya go! There ya go!


The cut above Stevie Hinch's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hinch looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hinch is keeping the position for now.
Hinch is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jones is looking to improve his position.

Hinch is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily.

Hinch is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jones is just riding it out for now. Hinch eventually gives up the hold.

Jones is defending against the submission attempts here by Hinch.

Jones wants to sweep but Hinch has passed to side control!
Jones regains half guard.

Hinch is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jones makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jones.
Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet.

Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hinch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hinch manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hinch drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick Hinch off! Hinch jumps back into Jones's guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hinch defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clyde Jones dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Stevie Hinch's cut.
That's time! Jones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Hinch is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Hinch decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Hinch is working for a submission of some sort.
Jones wants to improve his position but Hinch is controlling well.
Hinch trying to pass the guard but Jones defending well.
Jones tries to get to full guard but Hinch has control of the leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hinch is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jones tries to roll over but Hinch keeps him under control.

Jones is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hinch's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hinch's back!
Hinch is trapped and Jones is scoring with shots to the head and body.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Stevie Hinch's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Clyde Jones!
Clyde Jones decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
