Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Kais!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alton Brown!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kais tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brown swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kais sets himself, and Brown steps forward looking for the clinch! Kais avoids it this time.
Brown looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Kais lands a big head kick that sends Brown tumbling to the mat! Kais takes a step backwards and waves Brown back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Brown is rocked!

It looks like Alton Brown has been cut.
Kais keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Brown.
Brown is still on wobbly legs! Can Kais finish him?

Brown fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kais, pushing him back against the cage.
Kais has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Brown after a bit of a struggle.

Kais jumps guard and drags Brown to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kais is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Brown has his hands clasped together but Kais extends and breaks Brown's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Kais.

Kenny Kais was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
