Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chris Gunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe McClane!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by McClane. That's going to slow Gunn down.
Gunn uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McClane.
Gunn throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McClane sees it coming and avoids it easily.
McClane unleashes a big counter combination but Gunn bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
McClane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McClane shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
It looked like Gunn wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
McClane throws a shot from downtown. Gunn moves away and avoids it.
McClane throws a body punch but Gunn moves out of range.
Gunn has been working on his boxing with his coaches at gym closing in the buildup to the fight.
McClane buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gunn is stalling here. McClane is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Gunn seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and McClane has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Good leg kick by McClane there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

McClane misses with an attempted mid kick.
McClane throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gunn sees it coming and avoids it easily.

McClane lets loose with a powerful body kick. Gunn will feel that in the morning.
McClane scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
McClane throws a body shot but no joy.
Gunn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McClane as he avoids it easily.
McClane pivots, looking for a leg kick but Gunn is out of range and McClane settles back down.
Nice uppercut lands for Gunn. That snapped McClane's head back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gunn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McClane swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gunn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Gunn throws a strike but McClane rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

McClane is pushing down on Gunn's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gunn is fighting to maintain full guard but McClane has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gunn is looking for a sweep. McClane is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Gunn holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

I would just about give that final round to Joe McClane.
I've got McClane winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
