The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fayden tries to clinch but Butcher moves out of range.
Fayden ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Butcher connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fayden. Fayden circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Dack Fayden has been cut.
Fayden tries to clinch but Butcher is having none of it.
Decent striking displayed by Butcher there.
Butcher throws a body punch but Fayden moves out of range.
Fayden throws a nice looking combination but Butcher bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Butcher turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fayden has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Fayden's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Butcher connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fayden scrambles back to his feet.
Fayden looks to land a combination but Butcher avoids it well.

Butcher lands with a nice body punch.
Butcher throws a right hand that Fayden ducks under and follows up with a left that Fayden also avoids with ease.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fayden was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Butcher throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Butcher lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fayden circles away quickly and effectively.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Butcher, as that shot connected.
Fayden throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Butcher counters with a lovely shot to the body.

and Butcher connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fayden takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Butcher misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fayden steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Butcher. That one must have hurt.
Bobby Butcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fayden moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
