Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Gilmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Byg Jorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Big Byg Jorn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shawn Gilmore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Big Byg Jorn!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Jorn lands but Gilmore takes it in his stride.
Gilmore shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gilmore showed some decent athleticism there.
Gilmore is taking a breather. Jorn says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Jorn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gilmore seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Gilmore's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jorn tries to roll over but Gilmore keeps him under control.

Gilmore takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Gilmore lands with a nice combination. Jorn backs away looking to recover.
Jorn gets a clinch.
Jorn tightens his grip and picks Gilmore up, before dumping him to the ground. Gilmore manages to land in guard.

Jorn tries to stand but Gilmore is controlling from the bottom.
Jorn wants to control from the top but Gilmore keeps moving.
Gilmore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jorn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gilmore is proving hard to escape from.
Jorn trying to control but Gilmore is working from the bottom.

Gilmore is pulling down on Jorn's head to control his posture.
Jorn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gilmore swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gilmore looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jorn closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gilmore to the mat! Gilmore manages to get full guard.
Jorn tries to free his leg and advance position but Gilmore is retaining full guard.
Gilmore will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Gilmore pulls Jorn in close to his closed guard and prevents Jorn from doing any damage or advancing position.

Gilmore takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Jorn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jorn lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Gilmore blocks a head kick by Jorn.
Jorn is breathing heavily.
Jorn feints and as Gilmore raises his hands in defense, Jorn changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gilmore seems keen to control Jorn's posture.

Gilmore looking for a guillotine here but Jorn defends easily.
Gilmore is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Jorn wants to stand but Gilmore is controlling his posture from full guard.

Jorn wants to sweep but Gilmore has passed to side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jorn is pushing Gilmore's head away, looking to escape. Gilmore manages to hold on to the position though.

A lull in the action here as Gilmore stalls from top position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Shawn Gilmore will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Jorn throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jorn rushes Gilmore and presses him up against the cage.
Gilmore ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gilmore no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Jorn wants to control from the top but Gilmore keeps moving.
Gilmore wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Jorn displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gilmore throws out the jab.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Gilmore. Jorn shrugs it off though.
Jorn closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gilmore wants to get back to his feet.
Gilmore tries to get to full guard but Jorn has control of the leg.
Jorn is trying to control the action in half guard but Gilmore is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Jorn seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gilmore does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Gilmore kicks off Jorn and gets to his feet.
