Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Miyamoto Musashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hall Mungog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miyamoto Musashi is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Miyamoto Musashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hall Mungog!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mungog stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Mungog lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Mungog gets caught napping as Musashi dives in and scores a takedown. Mungog manages to retain guard.
Musashi wants to pass the guard but Mungog is keeping the position.
Musashi sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Mungog looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Musashi passes into side control.
Musashi trying to control the action but Mungog is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

and Musashi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mungog's guard.

Mungog has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Musashi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Musashi sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mungog's guard.
Mungog trying to get back to full guard but Musashi takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Musashi trying to control but Mungog is having none of it.
Miyamoto Musashi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Mungog has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Musashi has good solid back control here.
Musashi controlling well, preventing Mungog from escaping the position.
Musashi controls the position.
Musashi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Hall Mungog has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Musashi is hanging on to Mungog's back as he tries to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Musashi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
