The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fann tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Clayton swivels and escapes.

Fann fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clayton manages to avoid it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Clayton stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Fann to get to his feet.

Fann throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Clayton was covering up waiting for the punch and Fann finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Fann drops back looking for a leg! Clayton is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Clayton manages to kick Fann off! Fann jumps back into Clayton's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Benton Clayton will probably get the nod.
