The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kleinschmidt takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kleinschmidt connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Elroy Kleinschmidt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some bone on bone action there as Kleinschmidt checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Roberts connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kleinschmidt's hands.
Kleinschmidt gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Roberts throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kleinschmidt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Roberts swings for the body but Kleinschmidt moves out of range.
Kleinschmidt throws a counter high kick but Roberts was just alert enough to avoid it.

and Roberts scores with a counter punch that sends Kleinschmidt to the canvas! Roberts smells blood - he's punishing Kleinschmidt with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Kleinschmidt has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
