The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Meida.
Meida ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nice uppercut lands for Meida. That snapped Hardenov's head back.
Hardenov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Meida to score with a decent uppercut.
Good work by Meida as he checks the leg kick.
Hardenov seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Meida's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hardenov under the eye.
Hardenov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Meida connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hardenov scrambles back to his feet.
Meida lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Meida connects with a single shot there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Meida lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Meida connects with a single shot there.
Meida checks a leg kick nicely.
Hardenov avoids a punch combination nicely.
Meida cracks Hardenov with a right hand to the side of the head.

Meida uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Meida throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hardenov on the side of the head.
Meida sizes up Hardenov with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Thiago Meida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardenov takes one to the chin there.
Hardenov avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hardenov wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Hardenov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Meida checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Meida moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hardenov walks into a stiff left hand from Meida.

Hardenov is rocked!
Meida has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Meida closes the distance and catches Hardenov with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Hardenov is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Hardenov is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Hardenov is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Meida takes it!
