Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ultra Winner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jim Dixon!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winner fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dixon.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dixon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Winner lands a big head kick that sends Dixon tumbling to the mat! Winner takes a step backwards and waves Dixon back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Jim Dixon has been cut.
Dixon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Winner tries to avoid it but Dixon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Winner to the ground. Winner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dixon takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Dixon is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dixon throws the left hand but Winner avoids the punch easily.
Dixon is still on wobbly legs! Can Winner finish him?
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Winner! This one is all over!
