Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Maugatai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Selko Asap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asap displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Maugatai throws out the jab.
Asap steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Maugatai.

and Maugatai counters with a left and a right that stings Asap.
Asap changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Maugatai looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Asap tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Maugatai is looking to get back to his feet here but Asap is keeping cool and he's managed to take Maugatai's back.

Selko Asap showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Maugatai changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Asap tries to avoid it but Maugatai manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Asap to the ground. Asap escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Asap doesn't manage to clinch there - Maugatai circles away.
Asap manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Maugatai on his heels. He'll look to pass Maugatai's guard now, I'm sure.
Maugatai can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Asap controls the pace.
