Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fyodor Pending (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ipad Apple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Fyodor Pending has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Fyodor Pending seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apple tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pending sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Apple somewhat.
Pending looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Apple closes the distance and clinches up with Pending, looking for a takedown. Apple pushes Pending against the cage but Pending circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pending thinks about countering with a body kick.
Apple bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Ipad Apple seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Apple gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Apple tries to pull guard but Pending forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Fyodor Pending has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ipad Apple.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Apple breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Apple shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pending defends it nicely.
We've been hearing reports that Pending has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Apple shoots in for a double leg but Pending sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Pending stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pending wants it to stay on the feet.
As Apple tries to get set, Pending tries to push him back and clinch up but Apple manages to avoid the attempt.
Apple doesn't manage to clinch there - Pending circles away.
Apple shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Apple showed some decent athleticism there.
Apple is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pending doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Apple.
Apple is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Pending could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Apple is thwarting Pending's attempts to control the position.
Apple wants to take a breather but Pending is having none of it.
Pending tries to roll over but Apple keeps him under control.

Pending works his way to full guard. Good work.
Apple is looking to stand up but Pending won't let him.
Pending not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Apple pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pending is keeping the position for now.
Apple wants to control from the top but Pending keeps moving.
Apple is working Pending over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Apple trying to control the position from guard on top but Pending is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pending has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Apple can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pending keeping moving, preventing Apple from controlling successfully.

Apple content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Pending has locked up a guillotine! Pending's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Apple is holding on here and Pending must be using up a lot of energy. Apple has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Pending gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
