Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mack Truck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wagner Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mack Truck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Truck tries to avoid it but Maia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Truck to the ground. Truck escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Maia looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Truck avoids the head kick by Maia.
Maia misses with a takedown attempt - Truck sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mack Truck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wagner Maia.
Maia tries to clinch but Truck moves out of range.
Truck shoots in but no luck this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Truck changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maia tries to avoid it but Truck manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maia to the ground. Maia escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Truck takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Truck fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Maia gets caught flat footed, as Truck shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Truck is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Truck postures up.
Truck sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Maia's guard.
Truck looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maia pushes Truck off looking to stand but Truck dives back in and keeps control.
Truck really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Maia wants to control but Truck is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Truck trying to control the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Truck is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Maia tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Truck manages to move to mount!
Maia stops Truck from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Truck looking to control and managing it successfully.

Maia tries to improve his position but Truck has taken his back! Truck has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Maia tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Truck pushes Maia away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
