Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Emilio McCann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JP Okafor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCann comes to the cage accompanied by Mickey Avalon - Hustler Hall of Fame. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okafor pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Okafor throws a one two combo.
A bone on bone clash there as McCann blocks the leg kick.
Okafor avoids a punch combination nicely.
Okafor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Okafor closes the distance and pushes McCann back into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Okafor tries to pull guard but McCann holds him up against the cage and eventually Okafor drops back down to his feet.
McCann jumps guard.

McCann is controlling Okafor's posture.
Okafor looking to sit in guard and control but McCann gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McCann throwing strikes but missing.
McCann controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McCann scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
McCann might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
McCann in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
McCann lands a couple of digs.
McCann missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Okafor controls McCann momentarily but McCann frees himself.
McCann slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
McCann loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
McCann controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
McCann gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Okafor throws a low kick but McCann moves out of range easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Okafor looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
McCann appears to be looking for a big counter.

McCann scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
McCann thows a huge punch but Okafor dodges it nicely.
McCann is working for a submission of some sort.
Okafor flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
McCann prevents Okafor from improving his position.
McCann is nestled in close to Okafor, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Okafor is defending against the submission attempts here by McCann.

McCann is working for a submission of some sort.
McCann is trying to control. Okafor wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
McCann controlling the pace.
Okafor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCann. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McCann stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Okafor to get to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Okafor is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McCann scores with a couple of nice shots.
McCann seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Okafor does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

McCann tries to pass to full mount but Okafor defends it.

McCann is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Okafor can do to turn this around?
McCann lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Okafor is staying active underneath McCann, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Okafor is looking for a sweep. McCann is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
McCann wants to lay and pray for a moment but Okafor keeps working.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Okafor has hold of McCann's hands but McCann slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
McCann lands strikes from half guard.
McCann is controlling the pace.
McCann slips a nice elbow through Okafor's hands, connecting with Okafor's forehead.
Okafor is rocked!
McCann scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Okafor is still in real trouble! Can McCann finish him?

McCann lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Okafor! More strikes land and this one is all over! McCann jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Emilio McCann decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
