Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jango Fett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lil Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fett comes to the cage accompanied by Till I collapse. Wayne has chosen My Life as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fett was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Fett is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wayne.
A nice side step and Wayne releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Wayne's coach down at Beast Cartel was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Wayne's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Fett shoots in looking for a takedown. Wayne tries to sprawl out of it but Fett keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wayne manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Wayne cracks Fett with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Fett closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wayne did well to prevent Fett getting side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looked like Fett wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Fett drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wayne manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fett has Wayne in his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Wayne stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fett swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wayne is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Wayne. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Wayne wants to pass the guard but Fett is keeping the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
