The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaj sizes up Kalsoevic with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

and Yaj counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Kalsoevic is fighting off a takedown attempt but Yaj is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kalsoevic to the mat. Kalsoevic regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Yaj content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Kalsoevic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yaj. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Yaj has hold of Kalsoevic's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kalsoevic tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Yaj cranks the arm and Kalsoevic screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kalsoevic, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
