Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spencer Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spencer Turner looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Spencer Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Seth Gunn!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Darius Henderson and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turner has closed the distance and engaged Gunn in a clinch.
Turner looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Gunn looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Turner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gunn moves in looking to clinch but Turner pushes him off.

Turner throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Turner misses with a head kick.
Turner sets himself, and Gunn steps forward looking for the clinch! Turner avoids it this time.
Turner turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Turner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Gunn stops Turner from getting back to his feet.

Gunn escapes and gets back to his feet.
Good leg kick by Turner there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Turner moves into the clinch.
Turner tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Turner lands an elbow just above Gunn 's eye.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gunn on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Gunn keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Turner's efforts to push away.
Gunn tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Turner smiles and moves away.

Gunn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Turner paws at him with a jab and circles away.
As Gunn looks to move away, Turner throws a big counter combo bu Gunn just gets out of the way.
Gunn moves in looking to clinch but Turner pushes him off.
Turner tries a head kick but it misses.
Gunn is looking for the big counter here.

Gunn tries to counter with a clinch but Turner shakes him off and moves away.

Gunn closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Turner did well to prevent Gunn getting side control.

Gunn stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Turner to get to his feet.

Gunn tries to clinch up but Turner circles away and keeps his distance.
Turner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Turner swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Gunn counters with a left and a right that stings Turner.
Gunn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Turner sprawls well. Turner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gunn gets slowly back to his feet.
Turner throws a right and a left that Gunn avoids nicely.

Turner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Turner wants it to stay on the feet.
Turner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Turner sets himself, and Gunn steps forward looking for the clinch! Turner avoids it this time.

Gunn moves out of range as Turner throws a body kick.

As Turner backs off Gunn throws a huge counter combo but Turner manages to avoid it all.

and Gunn counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Gunn is in close to Turner's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gunn seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Let's hope that Gunn has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

We've been told by Turner's head coaches at Cozad MMA Sydney that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Gunn closes the distance and clinches up with Turner, looking for a takedown. Gunn pushes Turner against the cage but Turner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Gunn wants to counter the offense by Turner and move into the clinch position.

Turner looks for the body kick but Gunn saw that one coming.
Gunn tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Turner defends well and Gunn ends up having to push Turner into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Gunn throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Turner tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gunn is in Turner's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Turner manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight!
