The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buchecha feints and as Hectorio raises his hands in defense, Buchecha changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Buchecha trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hectorio controls Buchecha momentarily but Buchecha frees himself.

Hectorio is looking for a triangle but Buchecha pushes his legs off easily.
Buchecha postures up.
Hectorio looking to control but Buchecha passes into half guard.
Hectorio is looking for a sweep. Buchecha is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Buchecha is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hectorio's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Buchecha working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Hectorio gets back to half guard.

Buchecha is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hectorio is just riding it out for now. Buchecha eventually gives up the hold.

Buchecha wants to work for an arm triangle but Hectorio is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Buchecha is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hectorio defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Buchecha is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Hectorio is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
