The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts tries to clinch there but Mario circles away.
A little jabbing left from Mario on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Roberts misses with a series of wild punches.

Roberts is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Mario takes a knee to the side of the body.
Roberts lands an elbow just above Mario 's eye.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roberts using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Mario has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Mario should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Mario is looking to break free of the clinch but Roberts has double underhooks.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Super Mario's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
