PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Booker Ratliff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinn Zoella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zoella has chosen Lady GaGa - Bad Kids as his entrance music. Quinn Zoella will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ratliff enables Zoella to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ratliff manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Ratliff trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Zoella working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Ratliff wants to stand but Zoella is controlling the position.
Zoella lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Zoella's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zoella misses with a head kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Zoella. Ratliff does a little dance to reset his feet.
Zoella keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Ratliff has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ratliff prevents Zoella from breaking the clinch.
Ratliff is working for takedown but Zoella is calmly controlling the position for now.
Ratliff fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Booker Ratliff. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zoella slows down the pace here.
Ratliff could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Ratliff has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Zoella uses from the top position.

Ratliff is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Ratliff can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Zoella controls the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Ratliff wants to clinch.
A nice side step and Zoella releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ratliff takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Zoella keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like Booker Ratliff has been cut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Zoella, as that shot connected.
Zoella lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Ratliff falls backwards - clearly groggy! Zoella dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Quinn Zoella!
In his post fight interview, Quinn Zoella gave a big smile as he said 'I won this fight yay woo alright!'.
