Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Filippo Di Vaio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bronson has chosen Death to the apple gerls as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Winston Howard and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bronson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Di Vaio looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bronson leaves Di Vaio with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bronson now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Di Vaio ducks under a wild hook from Bronson.
An attempted straight right counter from Di Vaio misses the target.
Bronson throws a jab when Di Vaio was well out of range.
Bronson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Di Vaio scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Di Vaio throws a right hand that Bronson ducks under and follows up with a left that Bronson also avoids with ease.
Di Vaio pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Di Vaio throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bronson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Di Vaio looks for a takedown but Bronson sprawls well.
Bronson throws a body punch but Di Vaio moves out of range.
Bronson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Bronson throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

and Di Vaio counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Di Vaio bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Di Vaio tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Bronson is looking to reverse the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Di Vaio cracks Bronson with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Di Vaio in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Di Vaio wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bronson, who protects the arm well.
Di Vaio throwing shots but missing, from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bronson tries to strike from the bottom but misses.

Bronson is trying to get back to half guard.
Di Vaio misses with the ground and pound.

Di Vaio tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Di Vaio has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bronson wants to control but Di Vaio is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Di Vaio throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Di Vaio throwing shots but Bronson is blocking nicely.
Di Vaio thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bronson's head.
Di Vaio is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bronson has managed to free his arm - good work.
Di Vaio is nestled in close to Bronson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Di Vaio moves into full mount! Bronson won't be happy about that!
Di Vaio goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Bronson turns into him and now he's in Di Vaio's guard.
Bronson wants to control from the top but Di Vaio keeps moving.
Di Vaio throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Filippo Di Vaio dominated that round.

A slow jab from Bronson misses its intended target.
Bronson feints and then cracks Di Vaio's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Di Vaio down.
Horrible takedown attempt by Di Vaio or perhaps it was just good defense by Bronson, which made it look bad.
Bronson tries to land a front kick but Di Vaio steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Di Vaio looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bronson is fending him off so far but Di Vaio persists. Nope, Bronson circles away and we're back to standing.
Bronson misses with a wild body shot.
Di Vaio tries for a takedown but Bronson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Di Vaio ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Di Vaio was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Di Vaio connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Di Vaio closes the distance and clinches up with Bronson, looking for a takedown. Di Vaio pushes Bronson against the cage but Bronson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Di Vaio, as that shot connected.
Di Vaio stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bronson.
Bronson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Di Vaio loads up on a big right hand but Bronson slips the punch.
Bronson cracks Di Vaio with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bronson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Di Vaio to stand back up!
Di Vaio is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick from Di Vaio lands but Bronson takes it in his stride.
Oh Di Vaio is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bronson lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Di Vaio - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Bronson!
