Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Bonerz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Allen Carrero!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carrero has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bonerz.
Bonerz tries to clinch but Carrero moves away
and Carrero counters with a takedown into side control.
Carrero works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Bonerz dodges the ground and pound from Carrero.
Carrero in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Carrero wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bonerz keeps working.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bonerz is looking to reverse the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bonerz manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Carrero throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Carrero not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Carrero keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Bonerz is trying to get back to full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bonerz trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Carrero manages to pass to mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carrero pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Carrero landing strikes, looking to finish!
Bonerz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Carrero looking to ground and pound but Bonerz is blocking nicely.

BOOM! Carrero connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Carrero scoring with strikes but Bonerz is staying in there.
Bonerz is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Carrero cracks Bonerz with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Allen Carrero!
Our winner, Allen Carrero, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
