The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins avoids a punch combination nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jenkins.
Jenkins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Martinez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jenkins tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Martinez defends well and Jenkins ends up having to push Martinez into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Martinez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jenkins moves in looking to clinch but Martinez pushes him off.
Leeroy Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jenkins looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Jenkins has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Martinez after a bit of a struggle.

Jenkins jumps guard but Martinez stands there with Jenkins around his waist. Jenkins gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
