The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bocceli wants to clinch up but Mudeatter keeps it at a distance.
Mudeatter lunges at Bocceli with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bocceli's hand.

It looks like Christian Bocceli has been cut.
Bocceli closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mudeatter circles away.
Despite the aggression on Mudeatter's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Mudeatter circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mudeatter has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bocceli is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Bocceli lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Bocceli tries to keep at a distance but Mudeatter has taken the fight into the clinch.
Mudeatter is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Bocceli fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Christian Bocceli. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bocceli is trying to pull guard but Mudeatter has him pressed against the cage.
Mudeatter can't break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bocceli drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mudeatter pulls his leg out and moves away.

Mudeatter lands a left and a right that send Bocceli crashing to the mat, dazed. Mudeatter thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Bocceli wants to clinch but Mudeatter slips to the side

and Mudeatter shoots in for a double leg counter - driving through into a slam and Bocceli is out! The slam has knocked him out cold! Devastating for Bocceli but Mudeatter is celebrating as the crowd goes wild!
