The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Esperazito tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Esperazito looks to land a right hand but Weeks moved out of range.
Weeks tries to counter by clinching up but Esperazito breaks away and moves out of range.
Weeks throws a one two combo.
Sloppy strikes from Esperazito. Those never looked like landing.
Weeks avoids the head kick by Esperazito.

Weeks feints and as Esperazito raises his hands in defense, Weeks changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Weeks trying to control the position from guard on top but Esperazito is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Weeks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Esperazito swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Esperazito tries to sprawl but Weeks drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Weeks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Esperazito on the ground.
Esperazito is looking for a sweep. Weeks is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Weeks is looking to take a break and control but Esperazito is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Weeks closes the distance and clinches up with Esperazito, looking for a takedown. Weeks pushes Esperazito against the cage but Esperazito circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

enabling Weeks to counter with a crisp jab.

Esperazito shoots for a takedown but Weeks saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
