Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Usko closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Usko has Howell pressed against the cage, preventing Howell from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Howell jumps guard but Usko turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Usko pulls guard.
Howell wants to get up but he can't break Usko's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Howell gets caught flat footed, as Usko shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Howell is looking for a triangle but Usko pushes his legs off easily.

Howell slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Beric Usko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Howell tries to score a power double leg takedown but Usko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Howell somewhat.
Usko bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Howell is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
