Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ouyang Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Groper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Groper has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Ben Watson and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Groper keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Kang shoots in and gets a takedown into Groper's guard.
Kang is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kang seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Groper for as long as he can get away with.

Groper looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Groper is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kang defends well.

Groper is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kang is aware though and is defending well.

Groper has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kang can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kang stands and throws Groper's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Groper has one of Kang's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

Kang is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Groper's shoulder. That is not cool.
Groper keeps Kang under control for a moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Groper tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Groper looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Groper manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kang's best efforts.
Kang content to control rather than advance.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Groper is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kang pulls his head out easily.
Kang is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Kang can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Groper is looking to escape.
Kang takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kang can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Groper is looking to escape.
Groper tries to hold on but Kang pushes him away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Groper is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kang trying to control but Groper is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Groper shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kang as he jumps to the side.
Kang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Kang is looking to clinch.

Ouyang Kang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Groper.
Kang throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Groper blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Groper is trying to drag Kang to the mat but Kang just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Groper has Kang pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kang manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Kang misses with some punches.
Kang prevents a takedown attempt there.

Kang manages to break the clinch.

Kang drives through with a takedown into Groper's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Kang got a little sloppy there for a moment and Groper has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kang has managed to get both his arms back between Groper's legs - danger averted.

Groper is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Kang is sitting in close to Groper's body. Groper has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kang is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kang is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Groper.
