The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imanari slips under a jab from Valakas.
Imanari appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Imanari keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Valakas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Imanari tries to avoid it but Valakas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Imanari to the ground. Imanari escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Valakas closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Imanari to the mat! Imanari manages to get full guard.

Imanari working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Valakas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Imanari is tightening it up a little... Valakas has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Valakas reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Valakas taps out! Nice BJJ there by Imanari!

Kazushi Imanari really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Highland Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
